Bay Area Women's Living Expo - Mills-Peninsula 5K Walk-Run 2006 Fundraiser

Bay Area women will come together to raise money for the Mills-Peninsula Women's Center Community Outreach. This program provides mammograms to uninsured or underinsured women in San Mateo County one Sunday per month at the new Women's Center. You'll feel so good helping these women get screened for breast cancer. You may be able to help save someone's Mother, sister, daughter, wife or friend. Hope to see you there!

Take a trip to the Farmer's Market with a friend or your family and make an adventure out of the day! A Farmer's Market features the best and freshest California-grown fruits and vegetables from the fields and orchards of local farmers. Pick up some of your personal favorites, but also make a point to try something new! The local farmers are happy to give you a sample as well as cooking tips. You can also find some healthy fresh baked goods, olives from around the world, artisan cheeses and if you can't resist the aroma, pick up a delicious rotiserarie chicken. Serve it with the fruits and veggies that you just bought and pat yourself on the back!

Central Park Music Series - San Mateo

Join us for concerts every Thursday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm starting June 29th in Central Park at the corner of E. 5th Ave. and Laurel Street in Downtown San Mateo. Dance the night away on the parquet dance floor, put together a picnic dinner - or dine before/after the show at one of Downtown San Mateo's fine restaurants - or buy something to eat or drink from the onsite vendors. As always, concerts are FREE to music lovers of all ages

Ai Chi - Aquatic Tai Chi
Every Monday - 11:30 am - 12:00 pm
This class can be a stand alone meditative movement class combining Water Breath Dance with Tai Chi like movement done in the shallow end of the pool to promote deep relaxation and ease of movement. Benefits can include improved balance, posture and breathing, as well as decrease in muscular tension and pain. Pool orientation is required for new members.
